About the Artist

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, creativity was always around me, and some of my earliest memories are of drawing and painting alongside my family.

After decades away from painting, I picked up my brushes again—and quickly rediscovered how much I had missed it. What began as a return to an old passion became a new chapter in my life.

I work primarily in watercolor, gouache and pastels, painting the subjects that catch my eye and stir a memory—weathered barns, old trucks, wildlife, landscapes, everyday objects, and scenes from rural America. I’m especially drawn to things that show their age and character. Rust, worn wood, an old fence line, or a forgotten piece of machinery can tell a story all its own.

My goal isn't simply to reproduce what I see. I want each painting to capture a feeling—a place you've been, something you remember, or a moment that makes you stop and look a little longer.

Every original painting is created by hand, one at a time, in my studio in Tennessee. I also offer fine art prints so that people can enjoy my work in their homes at an affordable price.

I hope you enjoy looking through my work as much as I enjoy creating it. And if one of my paintings brings back a memory or makes you feel a connection to a place, an animal, or a simpler time, then I've accomplished what I set out to do.
